Thermaltake Armor LCS Full Tower

This case combines a nice look with strength and a good cooling system. It has a pre-installed liquid cooling system that performs very well. The blue LED fans at the front give it that little extra that your looking for. It has a toolless design for easy installation and a extra removable and cooled hdd-rack. Overal this is a super hot product. ..

Thermaltake Armor LCS Case

Overall the Thermaltake Armor Lcs is one great case, I love it actually, yes it's huge, but there's a lot of room in it and the liquid cooling system can be expanded with other parts from Thermaltake or even other companies. In the end I'm happy with it, I like the partial doors, it adds a bit of style to the whole presentation. ..

More and more companies are putting together these case and water cooling combinations. This really makes sense because with today's computer hardware getting faster, a water cooling system will keep things cool. Also, if you prefer a quiet computer system, a water cooling setup is really the way to go. The Thermaltake Armor LCS (Liquid Cooler System) Case is an excellent product. ..

Impressed? I know I am! A load temperature of 30C on a Prescott 3.6 is absolutely insane (Ambient temperatures were around 17C for those interested). We're talking an unheard of drop of 47C from stock... We also have an amazing drop of of 30C at full load on the GPU core. Thermaltake's giant LCS radiator is really flexing its muscles here. ..

FAQ

Q:  What is the longest graphics card that may be used with this chassis?
A:  12.29" is the length of the longest card on the market. This chassis will fit this size of card.

Q:  Why is copper based heat sink better than aluminum based solution?
A:  The short answer to the question is the fact that copper conducts heat better than aluminum.  Engineers utilize thermal conductivity (W/m*K) value to measure the effectiveness of a material.  In this case, copper has a thermal conductivity of ~401 W/m*K and aluminum is ~237 W/m*K.  To put it in perspective, wood has a thermal conductivity value of 0.04 ~ 0.4 W/m*K and concrete is 1.7 W/m*K, that is why wood does not get quiet as hot as concrete on a hot sunny day.
