We saw that under a light load this power supply showed little to no fluctuation whatsoever. Thermaltake has a great unit here that combines style with functionality. If you’re looking for a strong, quiet, modular power supply from a reliable brand then the Thermaltake Purepower RX series is something you should look in to. I give this power supply a 9.5/10.

One of the biggest things that caught my eye was the 140mm fan!!! Makes you want to take it out and use it as a window fan to help cool your computer room :-) With this huge fan, Thermaltake claims a very quiet 16db at 1300 rpm’s! Wow, that is quiet!

Thermaltake did a wonderful job bringing traits of a high-end product to the less expensive line of power supplies. Now you can power your dual core CPU along with an enthusiast graphic board for no more than $97 green dollars and worry about nothing. With low noise 14 cm fan, modularized cable management and high quality circuitry you should give either of these RXs a try.
